Here we go again
Dear readers around the world - here I am (again)!
Since I returned a lot of things happened. I tried to be creative, stood up at 1.30 (at morning!) for four months and now I work as professional balloon seller.
Step by step.
After arriving home I found my dream-shared flat, pretty much in the center of the hustle and bustle of Berlin and a fantastic look at the tv tower. The cherry of the cake are "my two boys" - Alex and Andi, who improve my life every single day :D (Thanks for that)
During the last months I´ve tried a lot of different things - starting with studying Design, beeing a waitress in four and five star Hotels, trying my best in an apprenticeship to become a confectioner and now I welcome vacationer and sell air balloons.
But after all of that I still couldn´t find what fills me.
Now I´m (again) at the point where I started one year ago and don´t know what to do. To figure it out I have different jobs, I will spend two and a half weeks on Rügen and work in the summer holidays on the Farbenkinderhof as riding instructor.
Afterwards I´m heading to Belgium for two weeks, what makes me really happy.
I don´t know how it continues after that but I´ll keep you up to date :)

Daheim. - Home, sweet home.
Daheim.
Zuvor möchte ich mich ganz herzlich bei allen bedanken, die mir die Reise zu einem so wunderbaren und einmaligen Erlebnis gemacht haben;
THE LAST TIME
Home, sweet home. Surely on of the best words when one was on the road for a while.
After two more days on the ferry, on night at the train station in Aarhus and a loong bus ride to Berlin, I arrived at home on 11. July.
I surprised my "second family" on the Farbenkinderhof and the next days I saw (nearly) my whole akin family again. :)
I´m only two months back and can´t believe it - time still flies!
Some of you might know that I worked as a riding instructor in our summer camps again and in this six weeks time flies even faster.
But now the six weeks are over and I don´t have anything to do.
Well. Aside from looking for a room in a shared living flat in Berlin, going to doctors and offices, seeing friends, answering mails...
Anyway. Nothing of this has anything to do with traveling. (Well, maybe visiting Berlin for interviews ;))
So I want to abandon my blog for now.
The last thing shall be to thank all the people who made my journey so special and unforgettable:
Starting with the guys I met in the Hostels or Pubs, the nice musical experience with the Folk Nights in Devon and by street artists, furthermore the reunion with my friends, my new "ferry-family", my hosts in Austria, England and Ireland who took me into their lives and taught me so much and last but not least my real family, which let me go.
All the best for all of you, wherever you may be or travel! ;)
Who knows where we meet again :D
By the way; the winner of the first riddle (about how many posts I´ll write) is....: my Dad!
Congratulations!

Faehre Klappe die Erste - Ferry take one --> Faroe Islands
another try
LUCKILIY I found my feet after 16 hours on the ferry!
The swell wasn´t as calm as on my way to Iceland and the Faore Islands turned every now and then around me that day.
Anyway.
After a hike at the sunrise it became better I finally got on the (affordable!) bus to Klaksvik.
In Klaksvik there live around 4 600 inhabitants and is the second largest city of the 18 islands and it has everything you may need. Even a little campsite :)
The next morning I started my "cultural weekend" with a guitar and vocals concert in a church in the capital city - Torshavn.
Then I went on to Sorvagur and listened to a piano and violin duo with a lot of classical compositions.
The "Duo Harpverk" (harp and percussion) was the great final on Sunday in Nolsoy.
Again I had perfect weather (blue sky and sunshine) and so I could explore the islands. I definitely want to come back with more time - it´s just beautyful and the people are nice and open-minded.
On Sunday night (11.30 pm) my ferry derparted and the music continued - a young lad with a good voice and his guitar accompanied the farewell from the islands with his music...

Bye bye Iceland!
and again
Now I have to say goodbye to this beautiful island!
After nearly three weeks of desperatly trying to pronounce the icelandic letters in the right way my tongue is twisted. But (hopefully) I´m no longer recognized as a "beginner tourist" because of my pronounciation. :D
It´s really funny - when you pronounce the words like a tourist the Icelandes won´t understand you. But when you pronounce it the right way the tourists are confused and just wonder, where this magic place shall be, because they can´t find it on their map.
But yes, it surely is confusing when "hv" becomes "kv" and "ll" transforms to "tl". Even "fn" changes to "bn".
(And there are many more...)
We used the last two days to do the most touristic things you can imagine.
Exactly. Whale Watching and horse riding on a born-and-bred Icelandic Horse.
Unfortunately we weren´t as close to the whales as we were to the horses, but it wasn´t much.
It´s really impressive when five meters next to you one of those giants shoots up and then turns on it´s back and falls into the water.
Tomorrow we go to the Myvatn, a lake with a lot of gnats (but they don´t sting) and even more cute little duck babies directly in front of the tent :)
There I will enjoy the last hours of my journey in the Nature Bath, a hot thermal spring...
And then I already take the ferry headed back home!

(Und wer ist dieses Gollum-ähnlich-sitzende Etwas auf dem Stein??)

Ah. Right. Here´s another riddle:
In which city are hearts in the traffic lights? :)

One more time
...and now we are back in Akureyri.
We travelled around the island in less time than we thought and had to take the bus only three times, apart from that nice people took us after a few minutes waiting. :)
(Especially our fascial muscels are stressed by the continuance smiling :D)
Untypical we travelled anticlockwise so it was a little harder to hitchhike, nevertheless we were able to see the most of the miracles of nature on our list at close range.
But for the moment I´m tired of waterfalls...^^
Special thanks to Hulda and Jonathan who took us the whole "Golden Circle" (a, well, more or less "circle" of sights in the vicinity of Reykjavik) and to Neil, who saved us when we were close to desperation and who offered us the possibility to see some waterfalls and other "must sees". :)
Campsites are a really good place to make new contacts and we met a lot of impressive people. (Thanks to all who embellished our evenings and extended my life with motivating stories :))
I also had a happy reunion with one of the ferry-couples, Daniela and Peter, (thank you for refilling our food stock :D) and almost at the end we had a 27km hike from Atlavik to Egilsstadir.

...ISLAND! - ...ICELAND!
Ja.
Well...
Yes. I'm finally in Iceland - the laststage of my journey.
But I start with the journey there...
The bus arrived in the evening in Denmark, strictly spoken in Aalborg and I decided to not spend the night in a Hostel but in the Bus Terminal. (It wouldn't have been worth...)
There I met Sarah, who was on underway to her first workaway-experience and we waited for her to be picked up. The rest of the night I spend in the Bus Terminal and later in the Train Station. (Thanks to Tristan for the nice company and talking :))
Then I boarded the train to Hirtshals where I arrived after changing the trains/ buses a few times. I first went shopping for the passage and then to harbour, where I could enter boarding the ferry around 2pm.
Accompanied by sunshine we launched the 3-day-journey towards north.
Luckily the weather stayed good, accordingly little swell and the accomodation was okay. (Apart from the absence of enough plug sockets...)
A short stopover on the Faroer Islands was included and I eventually arrived on 10.06. in Iceland.
The time on the ferry flew by and I met a lot of amazing people, who all helped me with tips, guidebooks, memory cards and water bottles and filled the length of the trip with nice conversations and cheerful evenings. (Thanks ypu, thank youm, thank you to Katrin&Christian, Lotti&Gustav, Daniela&Peter, Doris and Yvonne!)
Very special thanks to Julian, who took me along the first few days of his trip, whereby I already saw some nice places in Iceland. :)
And at 12.06. I drove to Akureyri where Wanda picked me up :)
Now we have a plan and a long list for the next days and rush into our Iceland-hitchhiking-adventure tomorrow ;)

Gruene Gruesse aus Amsterdam! - Green greetings from Amsterdam!
One more time...
Amsterdam welcomed me with sunshine and I was sad to leave it immediately - I booked to late and couldn't find an affordable hostel for Saturday. So I had to stay for one night in Heemskerk and was relieved to go to bed after nearly 50 hours without real sleep.
On Sunday I switched into the city and after leaving my luggage in the hostel I went for an excursion.
There is way too much to see and to do and I wont be bored..
The weather is kind and yesterday was the first day with little bit of rain (but nothing compared to rain in England/ Scotland/ Ireland. More drizzle ;))
Besides a visit at "Flora Holland", a really big flower auction, I did a guided tour, ate chips and had a look at the "eye Amsterdam". (Thanks to Andi and Stanze for all the good tips :))
But Amsterdam is really the wrong city if you don't like the sweet smell of weed - you are alsways swathed in a green cloud...
And tomorrow I take the bus to Denmark and then I enter the ferry to....
